August 17-23

It's another great week in Southern Indiana!  And we had another great message Sunday at ALCC.  Pastor Wes Traweek shared an amazing message, Awaken the King.  We looked at several scriptures in Mark as Pastor Wes showed us how to Awaken the King in our lives.  If you missed his message, you can watch the recording of our live-stream HERE. His message also encouraged me to share how God moved in my life last year and brought about a healing in a way I never expected.  You can read my testimony on my personal blog.

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4.  If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church!  We want this to be a benefit to our community.

October 26, 2023

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party .  Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more!   We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives.  If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering.  You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is  Lisa Short's Birthday .  You still have a little time to send her a card or  you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday!
