August 30 - September 6

Well, tomorrow we begin a new month, September. The temperatures may not feel like it but Fall is almost upon us. I sure hope some cooler and less humid days are soon to come!

If you weren't able to be with us yesterday, you missed a great message! Pastor Troy began a new series entitled Overcoming Faith based on Hebrews 11:1, "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." It was a powerful and encouraging word! Unfortunately, our live-stream was having technical difficulties. Hopefully the recording will become available on our YouTube channel soon.

Don't forget, this Sunday, December 31 , we will have one service only, at 10:45 AM . This will be a special Celebration Sunday as we rejoice over all God has done in 2023 and pray for all He will do in 2024. Here are the events coming up in January: Note the things coming up next week: Happy New Year! The church office will be closed until January 2 The Remnant men's Bible study meets on Tuesday at 6:30 PM First Wednesday Praise & Prayer Service (no meal) at 6:30 PM

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4. If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church! We want this to be a benefit to our community.

October 26, 2023

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party . Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more! We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives. If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering. You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is Lisa Short's Birthday . You still have a little time to send her a card or you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday! Also, this Sunday is Celebration (with Friends) Sunday ! Invite your friends to join us for this
