I think Autumn is finally upon us! We've had some beautiful cool days and Fall officially begins tomorrow on September 22nd. Then the days will get shorter and the leaves will be changing... and Christmas will be here before you know it! Although at church you can hear strains of yuletide song coming from Pastor Troy's office already!
Speaking of Pastor Troy, he preached a great message again yesterday! He continued with the series Faith > fear as we looked at the faith of Abel, Enoch and Noah. Need a mid-week pick me up? Listen to Pastor Mark's weekly podcast, Just a Thought. Each Monday you'll find a short "thought" from Pastor Mark to get you thinking and encourage you in your walk with God.
If you plan to attend Young at Heart this Wednesday, make sure you're sign up for a box lunch from Chick-fil-A. You should have received a text message you can reply to, or simply call the church office and let us know.

Also on Sunday nights, our ALCC Kids have begun practice for the Christmas musical! If you have Elementary age kids that would like to take part in this fun program, contact Pastor Johnathan or Mimi Montoya.
The play will be held on Sunday, December 13th at 6 PM, so be sure to mark your calendars!
Life is better when we do it together!
Our Men's Ministry is selling smoked pork butts for $25 and ribs for $20. The bbq will be available to pick up on Saturday, October 10th. Tickets are available for purchase in the church lobby before and after service.
At the BBQ table, you can also sign up for the men's breakfast on Saturday, October 3, held at ALCC at 8:30 AM. AND, you can sign up for the golf scramble on October 17.
Ladies, our new "Sister Co." merchandise is available for purchase! We have a table set up in the lobby of the church each Sunday. There you can also pick up information about women's groups, like our new mom's group, "Mama Co".
Also, mark your calendars for the Sister Co. bonfire coming up next month on Tuesday, October 13th.
