Happy Monday and Happy Columbus Day!  If you're lucky enough to have the day off, I hope you're enjoying it!

Yesterday we had another great message from Pastor Troy as he continued his sermon series, Faith > fear.  This week as we returned to Hebrews 11, we looked at the faith of Abraham and Sarah.  If you missed it, you can watch the recording of our live-stream on our YouTube channel.

Here are the events coming up this week:

Ladies, the bonfire tomorrow night is at the firepit located at the home of Darlene Brackett.  Just park in the cul-de-sac and walk through the yard to the fire pit behind her home.

Young at Heart - there was not a sign-up sheet for this gathering!  There will be plenty of food provided by Lisa Short, so we hope you'll be there!

Men, be sure to note the tee time for the golf outing!  Originally, I put the approximate tee time of noon but that had to be moved up.  You'll want to arrive prior to the 11 AM tee time to be ready to go!

Don't forget, October is Pastor Appreciation Month!  We are receiving offerings for our pastors and their wives all month long.  Simply mark your checks or envelopes with "Pastor Appreciation" or you can give online or via text by using the fund "Pastoral Gifts".  If you have any questions, contact me, Kim Forston, at the church office at 812.853.3437 or kforston@alccn.org.
