Hello everyone!  Hope you are healthy and well!  Sorry it took me until today to update the blog, but I didn't want to give any information that might change!  Thank you for being flexible this year, it's been crazy to say the least.

The church is still closed due to quarantine, but while we were away our halls have been decked for Christmas!


Thank you to Crystal Willis for posting pictures on Facebook so those of us not getting out can see how great it all looks!  We hope these decorations will get you all in the holiday spirit and shine a light in our community.  

These decorations are up right on time for our Christmas at the Movies series starting this Sunday.  This weekend we will see how we can Choose Joy as we look at one of my favorite Christmas films, Elf.


So, don't be a Cotton-Headed Ninnymuggins and join us Sunday at 9 and 10:45 AM.  We WILL meet in person and have the popcorn ready.  For those of us that are still under quarantine or just taking extra precautions, tune in online for our live-stream.  You can watch on our website, our Facebook page, or our YouTube channel.

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4.  If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church!  We want this to be a benefit to our community.

October 26, 2023

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party .  Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more!   We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives.  If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering.  You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is  Lisa Short's Birthday .  You still have a little time to send her a card or  you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday!
