November 30 - December 6

Now that Thanksgiving is over (hopefully it was a wonderful time with food and family!) and we have our first snow of the season, I think we all can agree that Christmastime is here!

We continued our Christmas at the Movies series yesterday as we took a look at It's a Wonderful Life and learned Your Life Matters. Every act of kindness has a ripple effect of God's blessing. If you missed it, you can watch it on our YouTube channel!

Tomorrow at ALCC:

Our mom's group will meet in December! Moms with kiddos of any age are welcome to attend this gathering for some adult conversation and encouragement! The group meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays each month from 9:15 to 11:15 AM. Childcare is provided. If you know any moms, invite them!!

This coming Sunday join us for:

We'll have the popcorn ready at 9 and 10:45 AM! Remember, if you're watching via live-stream, we aren't able to include any movie clips. So be sure to watch the movie in advance to get the most out of the message.

Coming up on December 13th the kids will join us in the sanctuary for a special Christmas at the Movies message with The Polar Express! Then that evening join us again for:

Don't forget, this Sunday, December 31 , we will have one service only, at 10:45 AM . This will be a special Celebration Sunday as we rejoice over all God has done in 2023 and pray for all He will do in 2024. Here are the events coming up in January: Note the things coming up next week: Happy New Year! The church office will be closed until January 2 The Remnant men's Bible study meets on Tuesday at 6:30 PM First Wednesday Praise & Prayer Service (no meal) at 6:30 PM

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4. If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church! We want this to be a benefit to our community.

October 26, 2023

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party . Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more! We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives. If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering. You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is Lisa Short's Birthday . You still have a little time to send her a card or you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday!
