Thanksgiving Week

Hope you all are healthy, well and ready for Thanksgiving! The holidays might look a little different this year, but we all have many things to Thank our Lord for this year. I hope you get to spend some time this week with family, in person or virtually, up close or at a distance, any way we can. Oh, and be sure to eat some pumpkin pie!!

This Sunday, join us for Christmas at the Movies as we take a look at:

We will meet in person at 9 and 10:45 AM. You can also join us online on our website, Facebook page or YouTube channel, however, we can not include movie clips. If you choose to join us virtually, you may want to watch this classic film in advance. You can find last week's sermon on our YouTube channel as well. Be sure to watch the movie, Elf before viewing PT's message on Choosing Joy.

Our kids have been working hard preparing for this musical! You won't want to miss it!

If you haven't yet seen our church lit up for Christmas, check out this great picture from Katelyn Johnson with two little cuties posing for us in their Christmas jammies!

Come on by and see the lights and take some family pictures! Be sure to post them on social media and tag ALCC so we can see them too.

Don't forget, this Sunday, December 31 , we will have one service only, at 10:45 AM . This will be a special Celebration Sunday as we rejoice over all God has done in 2023 and pray for all He will do in 2024. Here are the events coming up in January: Note the things coming up next week: Happy New Year! The church office will be closed until January 2 The Remnant men's Bible study meets on Tuesday at 6:30 PM First Wednesday Praise & Prayer Service (no meal) at 6:30 PM

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4. If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church! We want this to be a benefit to our community.

October 26, 2023

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party . Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more! We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives. If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering. You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is Lisa Short's Birthday . You still have a little time to send her a card or you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday!
