It's the week of Christmas and all through the house...  I bet some are scurrying about like a mouse!!  I hope you take time this week to enjoy the season and count your blessings!

Yesterday was our Christmas Sunday Service and the finale of Christmas at the Movies.  Pastor Troy used A Christmas Carol to show us how Redemption is the beautiful carol of Christmas.  If you missed it, you can find our on-line version on our YouTube Channel.  Just remember to watch the movie first since we cannot include movie clips (we watched the 1984 George C. Scott version).

The church office will be closed Christmas Eve until January 4th. If you need anything during this time you can text the church number and some one will get back with you as soon as they can.

Also, don't forget, on Sunday, December 27, we will have on-line service only.  Join us for Pastor Mark's special message from the comfort of your couch - maybe still in your Christmas PJs - via our website, Facebook page, or YouTube channel.

Lastly, as you finish up your Christmas buying, consider giving towards our Christmas Offering.  We will be using these funds to bless some of our church family, contribute extra to our missionaries, and make some improvements to our facilities.  You can give by check in the mail to 7333 Sharon Rd, Newburgh IN 47630 or drop off a check or cash at the church office Tuesday or Wednesday this week.  You can also text $ the amount you'd like to give and the words "Christmas Offering" to 812.205.2623, and you can give online and choose "Christmas Offering" in the fund drop down menu.

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4.  If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church!  We want this to be a benefit to our community.

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party .  Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more!   We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives.  If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering.  You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is  Lisa Short's Birthday .  You still have a little time to send her a card or  you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday!
