Hope you are staying safe and warm during this cold and snowy week!  Thankfully it looks as if we will be thawing out this weekend, so we are planning on services in person on Sunday as we continue our Happy Homes sermon series.


This past Sunday, Pastor Troy shared that - Happy is the Home that applies God's guiding light of the Word to our lives, as he drew from Psalm 119:105 - "Your Word is a lamp for my feet and a light on my path."

Coming up next week, we only have a few events on the calendar:

First of all, if you signed up for the Membership Class, it will be held Tuesday, February 23 in Room 107 at 6:30 PM.

Then on Thursday, Carla Boulware will celebrate a birthday!!  Be sure to wish her a very happy day and year to come!

Finally, all ALCC Members are asked to attend the Annual Business Meeting on Sunday, February 28.  The quick meeting will be held in the Fellowship Hall between services.  Be sure to make plans to attend.

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4.  If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church!  We want this to be a benefit to our community.

October 26, 2023

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party .  Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more!   We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives.  If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering.  You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is  Lisa Short's Birthday .  You still have a little time to send her a card or  you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday!
