Tomorrow, March 19, is Mackenzie Kneeves birthday!  Be sure to wish her a happy birthday and a blessed year to come!

Spring officially begins this Saturday, March 20.  With Spring, comes the celebration of Easter and the promise of new life and new growth.  Be in prayer for this Easter to be the best ever!

With Easter approaching don't forget our two opportunities to bring some joy to your family and our community.

Invite your family and friends to the Easter Egg Hunt here at ALCC.  This free event is a great opportunity not only for your family to have some fun, but to encourage other families to come on our property and experience our love for kids!  The fun begins at 10:30 AM with the egg hunt at 11:30 AM (the area will be sectioned off by age groups).  Come and snap some pics with the Easter bunny and watch the kids bounce on the inflatables.  If you'd like to help with this event, see Pastor Johnathan.

Sister Co. is having an "Egg My Yard" fundraiser.  This is a great alternative to those not quite ready to join group events yet.  The eggs will "magically" be in your yard Saturday morning on April 3.  This is also a fun way to bless others.  Have your neighbors yard "egged" and enjoy watching their kids hunt for eggs, or have your own yard "egged" so your elderly neighbors can watch your kids have some fun.  Be creative as you look for ways to bring some joy to someone's life this Easter!  Purchase eggs at the check-in desk in the church foyer and give them the address of the yard you'd like egged.  Also, as this is a fund raiser, if you'd like to donate filled plastic Easter eggs, you can leave those at the check-in desk as well.

This past Sunday, Pastor Troy shared more on Happy Homes as we learn how truly happy homes are ones that are built on the solid foundation of the Word of God.  If you missed this, or any other Happy Homes message, you can find recordings of our live-stream on our YouTube channel.

The Ladies' Book Club is BACK!  After a long hiatus due to the pandemic, Michelle Miller has put it back on the calendar.  The first meeting will be at Archie & Clyde's on Monday, March 29th, at 6 PM.  This group is open to any women who love to read and will meet on the 4th Monday of each month going forward.  If you'd like more information about the group, see Michelle (contact me if you don't have her phone #).

April will be here before we know it, and since there is so much going on early in the month, I thought I'd go ahead and share the calendar with you:

Have a great weekend and we'll see you Sunday, either in-person or online!

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4.  If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church!  We want this to be a benefit to our community.

October 26, 2023

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party .  Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more!   We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives.  If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering.  You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is  Lisa Short's Birthday .  You still have a little time to send her a card or  you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday! Also, this Sunday is Celebration (with Friends) Sunday !  Invite your friends to join us for this
