April First, No fools, just information on what's coming up at ALCC!

This weekend is the big event - THE BEST EASTER EVER!  

First up we have our Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 3, from 10:30 AM until 12 PM.  This event is open to all families in our community with kids 12 and under.  Invite friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, etc. to come join the fun.  We will have the Easter Bunny here, inflatables for all ages, and of course the egg hunt at 11:30 AM.

Sunday, we have Easter Services with communion and a great message from Pastor Troy.  Our overflow room will be open for those who'd like to social distance a bit more and of course we have our live-stream for those who cannot attend in-person.  Be sure to invite those in your circle of influence to join you for Easter at ALCC, however you choose to attend.  Nursery and Pre-K are available both services and Kids Church is available at the 10:45 service only.  Please note, Kids Church will be meeting in the GZ building this Sunday.

We have even more events coming up next week at ALCC!  We have Mama Co. on Tuesday morning at 9:15 AM and The Remnant men's Bible study on Tuesday evening at 6:30 PM.  On Wednesday, April 7, we have our monthly praise night at 6:30 PM.  Then on Saturday, April 10, the men hold their monthly breakfast at 8:30 AM.  And finally, next Sunday, April 11, we will have water baptisms and PT begins a new sermon series entitled "The book of ACTS, Power for the Last Days".




Summer will be here before we know it and this year we will once again host VBS!  It takes a lot of time and help to provide this week of fun for the kids in our community.  If you'd like to help, there is a sign-up sheet at the Hospitality Desk in the foyer.  There are numerous areas in which you can help: decorations, registration, snacks, crafts, games, Bible and video stations, crew leaders, nursery (for our volunteers' littles), set up and tear down.  Please be thinking about how you can help!  If you have any questions, see Mallory Jordan, our VBS coordinator.

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4.  If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church!  We want this to be a benefit to our community.

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party .  Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more!   We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives.  If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering.  You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is  Lisa Short's Birthday .  You still have a little time to send her a card or  you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday!
