April 15, 2021

I can't believe we're already half way through April!  And that means May is just around the corner.  Next week I'll include the calendar for the merry merry month of May.

One early May event I need to tell you about today is:

If you have a little one that you'd like dedicated, call the church office at 812.853.3437 no later than April 26th.  The church office is open Monday-Thursday, 8 AM - 4 PM, or you can leave a message with Kim or Debbie if you call after hours.

Next week we have a couple events coming up on Tuesday.  In the morning, Mama Co. will meet at 9:15 AM and then in the evening, The Remnant will meet at 6:30 PM.

This Sunday, Pastor Troy will continue he sermons series, "ACTS, Power for the Last Days".  If you missed this past weeks message, you can find the recording of our live-stream on our YouTube channel.

We are still looking for volunteers for VBS.  Treasured VBS will be held June 21-25, 6-8 PM.  It's going to take a lot of help to make it great!  If you're interested in helping, you can sign up right now right HERE.  Registration for participants will start next month.

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4.  If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church!  We want this to be a benefit to our community.

October 26, 2023

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party .  Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more!   We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives.  If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering.  You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is  Lisa Short's Birthday .  You still have a little time to send her a card or  you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday!
