Happy Thursday!  I hope you have thawed out and your outdoor plants survived the freeze this week.  Thank God it will be very short lived, as I shared in my personal blog, It's Temporary!

Pastor Troy started to dig into Acts as he continued with the sermon series, ACTS - Power for the Last Days.  If you've missed the first two in the series, or may be out of town in the next several weeks, you can always catch up on our YouTube channel.

Wednesday, April 28, the Young at Heart Luncheon is back!  All who are 50 and older are invited to join others for some old songs, timely devotionals, and of course food!  The event starts at 11 AM and is held in the Fellowship Hall.  If you have any questions, see Pastor Mark.

There are lots of events coming up in May:

And don't forget we still need volunteers to help with VBS in June.  If you'd like to help you can sign up HERE.

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party .  Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more!   We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives.  If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering.  You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is  Lisa Short's Birthday .  You still have a little time to send her a card or  you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday! Also, this Sunday is Celebration (with Friends) Sunday !  Invite your friends to join us for this
