Oops! I was so busy helping with the first day of Kid's Camp last week, I forgot to send anything out! Good thing we didn't have much going on this week at ALCC. But June is in full swing and things are about to get busy...
Today our teens are headed up to Santa Claus, IN for a summer retreat weekend. Be praying it is as successful as our Kid's Camp was last week!
This Saturday, June 12, the men will hold their monthly breakfast at 8:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall. All men, even teens and tweens, are invited to come out for some good food and an encouraging word.
Sunday, Pastor Troy will continue in Acts as we look to God's Word for "Power for the Last Days". If you've missed any of the sermons on ACTS, you can find the recordings of our live-stream on our YouTube Channel.
This weekend you will also want to get your tickets for the Man2Man sponsored Family Night at the Ballpark. Come see the Evansville Otters play on June 19 at 6:35 PM. Tickets are only $5 and include entrance to the game, a hotdog, chips, and bottle of water. Purchase your tickets at the Men's Breakfast or on Sunday morning from a member of the Men's Ministry Team.
Tuesday, June 15, the men's Bible study group, The Remnant, will be meeting at Friedman's Park at 6:30 PM. See Bill Partridge for more information.
Don't forget, VBS is right around the corner! If you haven't yet registered your kiddos, you can do that HERE. Also, Saturday, June 19, is set up day! If you're available to help decorate, please join us!
Lastly, be making plans to join us on Father's Day, as we celebrate Dads with a Food Truck Festival. Sunday, June 20, right after both services, the food trucks will be outside and ready to serve your family some great food. Dad's meal will be on us! So, ladies, that means we don't have to cook!! Check out these food trucks:
Each of these vendors have a Facebook page, so check them out to see their full menus.
Have a great weekend and see you Sunday!
