Hope you're having a great week and are enjoying the sunshine!

This weekend and next week is a busy one at ALCC!  Saturday, we will need all hands on deck to get the church ready for VBS.  We'll start at 10 AM and go until around 4 PM with lunch provided.  So if you're available, we can sure use the help.  And don't worry, we'll be done in plenty of time for those of you headed to the Family Night at the Otter's baseball game.

Sunday is Father's Day! 

To celebrate our dads, we will be having a food truck festival!  Following each service, food trucks will be set up in front of GZ ready to serve some great foods.  Be sure to invite your dads and your kids to church to hear Pastor Troy's message "Spiritual Fathers", then stay for lunch.  Dads eat for free - one meal at one truck, $10 limit.  

Monday, at 6 PM Treasured VBS at ALCC begins!  If you're helping at VBS come and enjoy a meal from 4:30-5:30 PM and then get ready for the kids to start arriving by 5:45 PM.  It will be a great week for the kids of our community to experience God's love as they learn "You Are Treasured"!  If you haven't yet registered your kids or grandkids, you can still do so HERE until Sunday evening.  We will also take walk-in registration each night so you can invite kids to join all week.

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4.  If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church!  We want this to be a benefit to our community.

October 26, 2023

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party .  Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more!   We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives.  If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering.  You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is  Lisa Short's Birthday .  You still have a little time to send her a card or  you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday!
