It's going to be a hot one today!  Hope you're keeping cool!

This weekend at ALCC, the Promise Keepers Conference Simulcast is available to all men on Friday evening and Saturday morning.  You can find out more information about the speakers at the Promise Keepers website (PromiseKeepersEvents.com) and you can register for the ALCC simulcast HERE.

They're on vacation this week, but you can still text or post on social media a very Happy Anniversary to Pastor Johnathan and Mimi this Saturday, July 17.

This Sunday, Pastor Troy will continue in the book of Acts.  If you've missed any of these messages, you can find them on our website or our YouTube channel.  Also, if you haven't yet gotten your sermon notes binder, be sure to grab one in the back of the sanctuary.  Be sure you have also picked up this month's Prayer Help: Daily Prayer Covering.  If you're missing any notes just email me at kforston@alccn.org and I'll get them to you! 


Next week the Remnant men's Bible study meets on Tuesday evening at 6:30 PM.  If you're looking for a group of men to encourage and challenge you, why not give it a try!

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4.  If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church!  We want this to be a benefit to our community.

October 26, 2023

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party .  Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more!   We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives.  If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering.  You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is  Lisa Short's Birthday .  You still have a little time to send her a card or  you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday!
