Hope you've found a way to beat the heat this week!  Maybe this will be the last of the super hot temps this summer since fall is right around the corner!

We have a lot of things coming up in September so mark your calendars now!


You'll notice the first two items on the calendar are coming up next week.  First Wednesday praise and prayer night is Wednesday, September 1st, at 6:30 PM.  Join us in the sanctuary for corporate worship.  Then Friday, September 3rd is Pastor Troy's Birthday.  Why not send a card, send a text, or post a "Happy Birthday" on social media.

In addition to all of the above, we will also start a new session of Life Track on Sunday, September 12.  If you are new to ALCC or are ready to get involved then Life Track is for you!  Life Track is a four-week journey of discovering who we are, why we do what we do, where we are going, what is your purpose and then joining our dream team.  Each session meets immediately after 2nd service and includes lunch and childcare.

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4.  If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church!  We want this to be a benefit to our community.

October 26, 2023

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party .  Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more!   We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives.  If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering.  You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is  Lisa Short's Birthday .  You still have a little time to send her a card or  you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday!
