Depending on where you live you may have seen some school buses out on the roads or maybe you have kiddos back to school or getting ready to return. Either way, remember to keep our students, schools and communities in your prayers!
We had an awesome time in the presence of God last night at First Wednesday. If you missed it, mark your calendars for our next praise and prayer night on September 1.
This Saturday, August 7, is the monthly Men's Breakfast. Come enjoy some great food in the Fellowship Hall at 8:30 AM. Afterwards, enjoy an encouraging word from one of the guys. Invite your friends and bring your sons, dads and grandpas!
We don't have any events coming up next week but there are some in the future you might want to sign up for!
We will be holding Water Baptism on Sunday, August 15. If you or someone in your family has never been baptized and would like to take that next step, sign up at the Hospitality Desk. If you'd just like more information about water baptism, you can also pick up a flyer/application at the desk too.
The Indiana Assembly of God Women's Conference is Friday & Saturday, September 24 & 25. This is a great opportunity for the ladies to get away from the daily grind, spend time together and be encouraged from some great speakers! If you or a lady in your life (ages 13 and up) would like to attend, we need your registration soon! The cost for the conference and hotel is $98 if you register and pay by August 19, after that the cost goes up $10. There is also a discount for single moms, full-time students, and seniors (55+). You can register in the church lobby starting Sunday. You can pay by cash, check (made our to ALCC) or you can use a card at the Pre-K check-in area. (DO NOT put your registration payment in the offering, text it in or pay on our online giving platform.) Also, you'll want to sign up for lunch at Cake Bake! The first 12 ladies to sign up can meet for lunch on Friday, September 24 at 1:45 PM EDT at this special shop in Carmel, Indiana.
