Bring your kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, neighbors, etc. to the Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday, April 9, from 10:30 AM until 12 PM.  This event is open to the public for families with kids ages 0-12 years old.  We will have age specific areas for our egg hunt that begins at 11:30 AM.  Come early to enjoy the inflatables, face painting, and the Easter Bunny!  We will hold the Egg Hunt regardless of the weather.  If the weather is too rainy or the ground to muddy, we will move it indoors.


You can still purchase eggs for our Sister Co. Fundraiser, Egg My Yard.  Purchase your eggs at the hospitality desk, contact one of our Sister Co. board members, or contact Kim in the church office.


Wednesday is Pastor Wes' Birthday!  Make plans now to send him a card, a text, or post a 'Happy Birthday' on social media.  But if you go to Rivertown on his birthday without him, he might look at you like this...




Next Thursday, April 14, the Ladies' Prayer Group will meet for an hour of prayer at 9:30 AM in the ALCC Prayer Room.  All women are welcome to attend.


Next weekend is Easter Weekend.  We hope you are making plans to attend our Good Friday and Easter Sunday services and inviting others to join you!  The Good Friday Service is at 6 PM, April 15.  Easter Sunday Services, April 17, will be held at our usual times of 9 and 10:45 AM with children's programs available during both services.


Also on Easter, we will be accepting donations for our One Day to Feed the World Campaign through Convoy of Hope.  To find out more about this campaign or Convoy of Hope, watch the video podcast of Gary Hanson from last Sunday and/or visit their website.

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4.  If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church!  We want this to be a benefit to our community.

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party .  Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more!   We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives.  If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering.  You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is  Lisa Short's Birthday .  You still have a little time to send her a card or  you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday!
