Continue to pray for our teens as they finish a week at camp.  Pray for the Holy Spirit to move in their last service tonight and for safe travels home tomorrow.

If you haven't already, get your kids and grandkids registered for VBS!  It's going to be a "howlin' good time"!

VBS is only 18 days away!  We still have lots to do to get ready so we could use some help.  Saturday, meet in the GZ Building for a Décor work day from 10 AM until 2 PM. 

Then on Sunday, there is a Volunteer meeting in the Fellowship Hall at 4:30 PM.  This meeting is for anyone (signed-up or not) that would like to help during VBS.  At the meeting you will learn the VBS theme and anthem.  We will also go over assigned roles, learn about volunteer meals, hand our banduras for you to wear at VBS, and more!  If you cannot make it, please let Mallory Jordan know ahead of time.

We are also holding a cactus contest!

This contest is for families, kids, adults, etc.  Be creative and make a cactus: 2D, 3D, short, tall, no rules, not regulations!  Prize for the best cactus is a $25 gift card to a local restaurant and a VBS music CD/digital download.  Bring your cactus (with your name on it somewhere) and place it in the designated area in the sanctuary.  All cacti must be here by Saturday, June 25 (VBS Decoration Day).  The winning cactus will be announced on Sunday, June 26.  All cacti will then be used in our decorations all over church for VBS.

Monday, June 13, our kids head to camp in Lincoln City. Keep them and the staff in your prayers for safety, good weather, and a mighty move of God in their lives!

Our Ladies' Prayer group meets again next Thursday, June 16, at 9:30 AM in the ALCC Prayer Room.  

Plan ahead now for Father's Day!  June 19 we will celebrate Dads and Family with a Food Truck Festival.  We'll share more details soon, but invite your kids, dads, grandpas, etc. for a fun day!
