Hope you're keeping cool on these hot summer days and I hope you're getting some of this much needed rain!

Here's what's coming up at ALCC:

This Saturday, July 9, is our monthly Men's Breakfast at 8:30 AM.  Meet up for a great meal in the Fellowship Hall and enjoy our guest speaker, Les King.

Then, coming up next week:

Monday, July 11, the ladies of ALCC will bless Sarah Kendall with a Baby Shower in the Fellowship Hall at 6:30 PM. Sarah is registered at babylist.com.  

The Ladies' Prayer Group meets next Thursday, July 14, at 9:30 AM in the ALCC Prayer Room.  All women are welcome to attend as Kathy Tidd directs this time of focused prayer.  This group meets on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Thursdays every month; join them any time!

Coming up:

Mark your calendars for the Sister Co. Salad Supper on Tuesday, July 19.  The ladies haven't had this favorite event in a few years and it's finally back!  Make your favorite salad or try out a new one.  Bring the recipe along with your salad, because it's very likely some one will ask for it!  Meet at 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall for some wonderful food and hear a word from a special lady.
