Happy Thursday!  Here's your weekly update on what's going on at ALCC:

Ladies, get ready for some early fall fun!  The Sister Co. Bon Fire is Tuesday night at 6:30 PM - weather permitting.  Meet at the firepit at the home of Darlene Brackett, 5488 Lakeside Drive, Newburgh.  We will send out emails and texts if the event has to be postponed due to rain.


Also on Tuesday night, The Remnant is hosting a Men's Prayer Meeting at 6:30 PM (rain or shine 😉).  Come join in prayer with the men of ALCC.


Then on Wednesday at 11 AM is the Young at Heart service and luncheon.  This is a great time of worship, fellowship and food for all seniors.


September 1 is one week away so here is the September Calendar:


As we move into the "ber" months we'll have lots going on - probably even more than what's on these calendars!  So keep reading the blog, listen to the announcements, and watch for emails and texts!

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4.  If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church!  We want this to be a benefit to our community.

October 26, 2023

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party .  Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more!   We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives.  If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering.  You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is  Lisa Short's Birthday .  You still have a little time to send her a card or  you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday! Also, this Sunday is Celebration (with Friends) Sunday !  Invite your friends to join us for this
