This Saturday, October 15, is the Men's Golf Outing at The Bridges Golf Course of Henderson.  If you signed up to play, please be there and ready to tee off at 11 AM.  If you have any other questions about the event, contact Bill Partridge.


Sunday we continue...

Come and learn from Hidden Figures, how you can "Discover Your Purpose" through the incredible true story of the brilliant women who helped NASA win the Space Race.  Once again, we are unable to stream the At the Movies sermons due to copyright restrictions, so join us in person!


We have a few things coming up next week:

On Tuesday, The Remnant Men's Bible Study meets at ALCC at 6:30 PM.  All men are welcome to attend!


On Thursday morning, the Ladies' Prayer Group meets at 9:30 AM in the ALCC Prayer Room. 

We also have Mama Co. on Thursday morning at 9:15 AM.  This group is for moms with kids of any age and childcare is provided.



Ladies, coming up next Friday, October 21, is BREATHE, a worship experience by Sister Co.  This event, with special guests Cedric Cobb and Tori Hammers, will be held in the GZ sanctuary at 6:30 PM.  Make plans now to join us for this amazing night!


Also, don't forget, October 30 is Celebration Sunday!  For that Sunday only, we will have one combined service at 10 AM and no Sunday School.  Let's all come worship together and celebrate all that God is doing in our lives and in our church!

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4.  If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church!  We want this to be a benefit to our community.

October 26, 2023

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party .  Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more!   We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives.  If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering.  You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is  Lisa Short's Birthday .  You still have a little time to send her a card or  you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday!
