November 3, 2022

Last night we had a great time at our First Wednesday fellowship and service.  Be sure to thank Belinda Britton as well as David & Karla Heal for all their hard work making sure the fellowship meals are a tasty, organized success!  This was the last First Wednesday of 2022.  We'll start them up again in the new year.

This Saturday, November 5, at 8:30 AM, all the guys are invited for a great meal at the Men's Breakfast.  While you're there, go ahead and purchase your tickets to the Men's Christmas Dinner which will be on Tuesday, December 6, catered by the Schnitzelbank.

It's time to set up Bethlehem!  If you can help on Saturday, we'll finish up the booths, wrap the booths in burlap, set up lighting, organize costumes and organize props.  The work starts at 9:30 AM, or if you're here for the Men's Breakfast just stick around afterwards.  If you need more information, see Lance or Terri Leithliter.

Don't forget, Daylight Savings Time Ends this weekend.  So be sure to turn back your clocks before going to bed Saturday night.

This Sunday, November 6, is Mimi Montoya's Birthday!! Be sure to wish her a happy birthday when you see her at church, send her a card or a text, or maybe post something on social media!

This Sunday is also Friend Day at ALCC!  If you have friends that are unsaved or unchurched, this is the day to invite them to church with you.  Remember, come when it's convenient for them, 9 or 10:45 AM.

Our Little Town of Bethlehem may be set up by Saturday, but it will be a ghost town if we don't have villagers!  We need lots of volunteers for this outreach to be a huge success!  If you are available and willing, sign up to help in costume at Bethlehem.  Pick a booth and be the leader, help for one night in one of the booths, be an angel, be a shepherd, be a soldier - we need all kinds!  Sign up sheets are in the foyer.

Our Ladies' Prayer Group meets next Thursday at 9:30 AM.  All women are welcome to attend.  The group meets in the ALCC Prayer Room for hour of directed prayer.

Just to give you a heads up on what we have coming up next weekend!

Saturday, November 12, at 12 PM is ALCC's first Turkey Bowl.  This event is hosted by ALCC Youth but is a fun day for the whole family. Come out and cheer for your favorite team playing in the flag football game and enjoy a chicken & dumpling lunch - no charge, but donations are appreciated.  There will be childcare in the church for the little ones and an area for older kiddos to have some fun too.

Starting on Sunday, November 13, Tim and Rochelle Enloe will be with us for a Holy Spirit Conference.  The conference begins in the morning services and continues Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday evenings at 6:30 PM.  Each service builds on the previous ones, so you'll want to be here for all of them.  To find out more about the Enloe's ministry, visit their website HERE.
