Hope your 2023 is off to a great start! Now that the holidays are over we will be getting back into a routine with all of our events, activities, and ministries - old and new!
This Saturday, January 7th, is our Men's Ministry monthly Breakfast. Guys, you don't want to miss this opportunity to gather with others for a great meal and an even better word of encouragement. The Men's Breakfast is at 8:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall.
On Monday, January 9, we will begin our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting. The Goal of Fasting is to draw near to God - It hits the reset button of our soul and renews us from the inside out. Fasting enables us to celebrate the goodness and mercy of God. It prepares our hearts for all the good things God desires to bring into our lives. When deciding on a fast, we encourage you to seek God in prayer and follow what the Holy Spirit leads you to do. More details and commitment forms will be available this Sunday.
Monday, January 9th, is Pastor Mark's 65th Birthday! Be sure to wish him a Happy Birthday in person, through the mail, on social media, via text, by singing telegram, in sky writing, etc.
Wednesday, January 11, our Young at Heart group begins a new Bible Study. This gathering will be held every 2nd Wednesday of the month in the Fellowship Hall at 10 AM. Anyone over 50 is welcome to attend, so seniors plan to be here and bring a friend!
Thursday, January 12, the Ladies' Prayer Group resumes. This group meets on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Thursdays of the month in the ALCC Prayer Room at 9:30 AM. Ladies, if you're available to come every time, once a month, once a quarter, etc. that's fine! You're welcome to come as often as you are able for this hour of focused prayer.
