Well, the weather didn't cooperate for us to hold First Wednesday last night, so save the date for the next one on March 1.


This Saturday, February 4, is our monthly Men's Breakfast in the Fellowship Hall at 8:30 AM. 


Sunday, Pastor Troy will continue his sermon series:


Pastor will continue in the story of "The 3 Hebrew Children" that he began on January 22.  If you weren't here that Sunday, catch up with our video podcast.



Here's what we have coming up next week:

  • Tuesday, February 7, The Remnant men's bible study meets at ALCC at 6:30 PM.
  • Wednesday, February 8, the Young at Heart Bible Study meets in the Fellowship Hall at 10 AM with light refreshments provided.
  • Thursday, February 9, the Ladies Prayer Group meets in the ALCC Prayer Room at 9:30 AM.

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4.  If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church!  We want this to be a benefit to our community.

October 26, 2023

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party .  Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more!   We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives.  If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering.  You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is  Lisa Short's Birthday .  You still have a little time to send her a card or  you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday!
