Hope you got to enjoy the beautiful weather yesterday!  If you didn't make it out to First Wednesday last night you missed a great meal and an even better time worshipping and praying together as a church family.  The next First Wednesday won't be until May -we're taking April off due our Easter week activities - so mark your calendars for May 3rd and join us!


This Saturday is Pastor Johnathan's Birthday!  Be sure to wish him a Happy Birthday, in person, online or by text.


Also this Saturday is the monthly Man2Man Men's Breakfast in the Fellowship Hall at 8:30 AM.  This is a great event for men, teens, and boys to enjoy a meal and hear an encouraging word.  



Sunday, join us as we welcome Guest Speaker, Zach Maddox.  

Through their work, the Maddox family encourages others to live according to the teachings of Jesus and promote positive change in their communities and nations.  Zach, Shellie, and their three children, long to see people live extraordinary lives by practicing the way of Jesus.  After serving as the lead pastors of Connection Point Church in West Lafayette, Indiana (the home of Purdue University), the Maddox family has recently been called to pastor at the Casablanca International Protestant Church in Morocco.  

Abundant Life is partnering with them as they participate in what God is doing globally to bring about a spiritual awakening in our day.


Next week we have The Remnant men's group meeting on Tuesday at 6:30 PM, the Young at Heart Bible Study on Wednesday at 10 AM, and the Ladies' Prayer Group meeting on Thursday at 9:30 AM in the ALCC Prayer Room.


ATTETION YOUNG AT HEART

Due to scheduling conflicts, the March Madness event will NOT be held on March 10.  Pastor Mark and Lisa are hoping to reschedule this fun night for the 50+ crowd and we will let you know when it is.

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4.  If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church!  We want this to be a benefit to our community.

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party .  Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more!   We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives.  If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering.  You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is  Lisa Short's Birthday .  You still have a little time to send her a card or  you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday!
