This weekend is Memorial Day Weekend

We hope you enjoy your long weekend and take time to remember those who gave all for our country.  We will have our normal Sunday services this weekend at 9 and 10:45 AM.  In observance of the holiday, the church office will be closed Monday, May 29.


Tomorrow, Friday, May 26, and Saturday, May 27, we will have VBS Workdays in the Fellowship Hall.   Belinda Britton will be getting things ready for our cosmic quest at Stellar VBS.  If you're available, meet in the Fellowship Hall.  They'll be working from 10 AM until 2 PM, so come and help as long as you can.  If you can't help either of these days, don't worry there are more workdays coming up.  Saturday, June 3rd Belinda will again direct any helpers from 11 AM until 3 PM and then on June 10 we have the big VBS Decoration Day from 9 AM until 4 PM.

Don't forget to register your kiddos for VBS and share this information with others you know:

Next week, on Tuesday, May 30, the Man2Man Men's Ministry will hold it's 5th Tuesday Prayer Night at 6:30 PM at ALCC.  For more information, see Bill Partridge.

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4.  If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church!  We want this to be a benefit to our community.

October 26, 2023

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party .  Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more!   We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives.  If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering.  You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is  Lisa Short's Birthday .  You still have a little time to send her a card or  you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday!
