Whether your holiday weekend starts early or runs long, we hope you have a blessed 4th of July weekend!  We WILL have services this Sunday at our usual times of 9 & 10:45 AM, so we hope to see you here.  You can also join us online via livestream on our Facebook page or YouTube channel.


Our kids are home from camp today and our youth will be coming home tomorrow.  Keep them in your prayers for recuperation, safe travel home and also for them to continue to live out all that they learned and experienced at camp this week.


Saturday is July first so here is the calendar of events:

Note all the things coming up right after the holiday:

  • Annual Business Meeting on Wednesday, July 5 - all members are asked to attend
  • Ladies' Book Club on Saturday, July 8 (in August they will return to their normal schedule and location)
  • Pre-K Splash Day on Saturday, July 8 - on the ALCC grounds

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4.  If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church!  We want this to be a benefit to our community.

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party .  Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more!   We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives.  If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering.  You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is  Lisa Short's Birthday .  You still have a little time to send her a card or  you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday!
