Happy Thursday! Here's what we have going on at ALCC:

Saturday, September 16, is Christina Traweek's birthday. Be sure to send her a text or post something on social media telling her Happy Birthday!!

Join us Sunday as Pastor Troy continues his sermon series on the Blessed Life. Unfortunately, due to two separate electricity outages this past Sunday, neither service was able to be recorded. But if you missed it, don't worry! I'm sure PT will catch you up this week so you won't be lost!

Tuesday, September 19, The Remnant men's Bible study meets at ALCC at 6:30 PM.

Then on Thursday, September 21, the Ladies' Prayer Group meets in the ALCC Prayer Room at 9:30 AM.

There has been a little confusion over this! The annual sister Co. bonfire is NOT this weekend, it will be Tuesday, September 26, at 6:30 PM. Save the date now so you won't miss out!

Don't forget, this Sunday, December 31 , we will have one service only, at 10:45 AM . This will be a special Celebration Sunday as we rejoice over all God has done in 2023 and pray for all He will do in 2024. Here are the events coming up in January: Note the things coming up next week: Happy New Year! The church office will be closed until January 2 The Remnant men's Bible study meets on Tuesday at 6:30 PM First Wednesday Praise & Prayer Service (no meal) at 6:30 PM

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4. If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church! We want this to be a benefit to our community.

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party . Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more! We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives. If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering. You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is Lisa Short's Birthday . You still have a little time to send her a card or you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday!
