Note the events coming up next week:

  • The Remnant men's bible study meets on Tuesday at 6:30 PM
  • First Wednesday: meal starting at 5:15 PM and service at 6:30 PM
  • Men's Breakfast on Saturday, October 7, at 8:30 AM


Also October is when we celebrate

Be watching for emails and text messages sharing how you can show our pastors how much we appreciate them!


Don't forget to bring in your items for Operation Christmas Child!  Whether you are picking up a bunch of school supplies, personal hygiene items, or grabbing some Wow items from the trees at church, but sure to drop off your donations in the big red boxes at church no later than October 22.  Then, plan on helping at the Shoebox Packing Party on Friday, October 27.  Donations for postage can be put in the offering any time this month.

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4.  If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church!  We want this to be a benefit to our community.

October 26, 2023

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party .  Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more!   We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives.  If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering.  You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is  Lisa Short's Birthday .  You still have a little time to send her a card or  you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday!
