Don't forget, Daylight Savings Time ends this weekend!  Our smart devices will change automatically, but remember to change your manual clocks - like the one on the oven!  Enjoy your extra hour of sleep and then join us Sunday morning.


This Sunday, November 5, we begin At the Movies.  Each Sunday in November we will be looking at biblical truths that we can find in these films: Top Gun Maverick; Inside Out; The Pursuit of Happiness; and Safety.  We'll have the popcorn ready; be sure to invite your friends!


Monday, November 6, is Mimi Montoya's Birthday!  Be sure to tell her happy birthday, send her a card or text, or even post something on social media for her special day!


Tuesday, November 7, The Remnant men's bible study meets at 6:30 PM.


Wednesday, November 8, the Young at Heart Bible Study meets in the Fellowship Hall at 10 AM.


Lastly, the Ladies' Prayer Group meets on Thursday, November 9, at 9:30 AM in the ALCC Prayer Room.

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4.  If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church!  We want this to be a benefit to our community.

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party .  Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more!   We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives.  If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering.  You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is  Lisa Short's Birthday .  You still have a little time to send her a card or  you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday!
