We hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow!


This Sunday is the finale of At the Movies with the family friendly movie, Inside Out.  Invite your friends and family with kids since everyone will join us in the main sanctuary for this one (no kids church).  However, nursery and Pre-K classes will still be available.



The last Book Club of 2023 will be next Monday, November 27, at 6 PM.  Join the ladies at Archie and Clyde's as they discuss some great books and plan what to read during the break.



ALCC is building a float for the Newburgh Holiday Light Parade.  The parade is Sunday, December 3, at 6 PM.  Our float will be Bethlehem Revisited so we'll need lots of volunteers to dress in costumes of villagers, Roman soldiers, shepherds and more.  If you'd like to help, sign up at the table in the back of the sanctuary.  We'll contact you about costume pick up, parking, arrival times and more, so be sure to list a phone number. 


Time is running out to get your ticket to the Sister Co. Christmas Soiree!  Tickets are $20. Buy yours this Sunday at the Hospitality desk.  Headed out of town? You can Venmo @Sister-co or call the office at 812-853-3437 to purchase yours by card.

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4.  If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church!  We want this to be a benefit to our community.

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party .  Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more!   We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives.  If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering.  You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is  Lisa Short's Birthday .  You still have a little time to send her a card or  you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday!
