Tomorrow is December 1, so here is the calendar for the month:


Guys, don't forget the Men's Breakfast this Saturday, December 2, at 8:30 AM.  Meet in the Fellowship Hall for some good food and hear guest speaker, Dennis Turpin.


This Sunday, December 3, is the Newburgh Holiday Light Parade and ALCC will be participating with a Bethlehem Revisited float.  Come out to enjoy the show which begins at 6 PM.  We are float #3 in the parade.  If you signed up to help, you should have received some texts about picking up costumes today. Also, we have all the information about parking, rides, times and more typed up and ready for you to take with your costumes.  If you didn't sign up but would like to participate, stop by the church today and get your costume.


Ladies, the Sister Co. Christmas Soirée is this coming Tuesday, December 5, at 6:15 PM. It's not too late to get your ticket - get yours Sunday!


The Remnant men's bible study will meet in the gz building on Tuesday, December 5, at 6:30 PM.  All men are welcome to attend.


Mark your calendars now for the ALCC Kids Christmas Play coming up on Sunday, December 10, at 6 PM.  You won't want to miss this "caroling adventure though time" as the kids present Back to the Manger.  The program will be held in the GZ building and will be followed by refreshments.

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4.  If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church!  We want this to be a benefit to our community.

October 26, 2023

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party .  Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more!   We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives.  If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering.  You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is  Lisa Short's Birthday .  You still have a little time to send her a card or  you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday!
