We've been collecting pledges for the Legacy Campaign for the past two Sundays, but it's not too late to make your commitment to expanding and improving the ALCC facilities.  Pick up a commitment card on Sunday or use our digital connection card at alccn.org/legacy


Only 2 1/2 weeks until VBS!! 😱 Now's the time to get registered to volunteer, sign up your kids or grandkids and plan to help make ALCC into Oceans of Fun!  Registration forms can be found in the back of the sanctuary or at alccn.org.  There will be VBS Work Days on each Saturday from 10 AM until 2 PM leading up to the big Decoration Day on Sunday, June 2 immediately following 2nd service (lunch will be provided).  Also plan to attend one of the Volunteer Meetings scheduled for Saturday, May 25, and Sunday, May 26, at 4 PM.  Hope to "sea" you there!


Due to Memorial Day, the ALCC Ladies' Book Club will meet earlier this month.  The women will meet at Jalisco on Monday, May 20, at 6 PM.


The Remnant men's Bible study group meets at ALCC this coming Tuesday, May 21, at 6:30 PM.  Also, make a note, due to VBS the Remnant will only meet at ALCC on the 3rd Tuesday in June.


Wednesday, May 22, is the Young at Heart Luncheon at 11 AM in the Fellowship Hall.  Invite your retired/semi-retired friends to join us!


Thursday, May 23, the Ladies' Prayer Group meets in the ALCC Prayer Room at 9:30 PM.

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4.  If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church!  We want this to be a benefit to our community.

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party .  Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more!   We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives.  If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering.  You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is  Lisa Short's Birthday .  You still have a little time to send her a card or  you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday!
