It's a new month so here is what we have coming up:

  • Men's Breakfast on Saturday, May 4
  • The Remnant men's bible study on Tuesday, May 7
  • Young at Heart Bible Study on Wednesday, May 8
  • Women's Prayer Group on Thursday, May 9


Next Sunday, May 12, is Mother's Day.  All of us have or have had a mom, many of us are moms, and all of us know some pretty amazing moms here at ALCC - so lets celebrate all the moms!!  As part of the celebration, we will have Baby Dedications available in either service.  If you would like to dedicate your baby or know someone who does, please contact the church office at 812-853-3437.



VBS is about a month away!  We still need volunteers to make this the best VBS yet.  Starting Saturday, May 11, there will be decoration work days from 10 AM until 2 PM.  Come help make all the pieces that make our VBS look so 'fin'-tastic!  You can also sign up to help the week of VBS and register your kids/grandkids HERE.  Let's soak up some vitamin "sea" together at Scuba VBS!


Next weekend, the ALCC Youth is having a Yard/Rummage Sale to raise funds for camp.  If you have some items you'd like to donate, you can bring them to the Fellowship Hall on Friday, May 10.  If that date doesn't work for you, contact Angel and set up a drop off time that's more convenient.  The Yard Sale will be held in the Fellowship Hall on Saturday, May 11, starting at 8 AM.  Come find some treasures and help our youth!

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4.  If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church!  We want this to be a benefit to our community.

October 26, 2023

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party .  Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more!   We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives.  If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering.  You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is  Lisa Short's Birthday .  You still have a little time to send her a card or  you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday!
