This Sunday, March 30, is Celebration Sunday .  This will be a family service with water baptisms and a special message by Pastor Johnathan.  All elementary students will join us in the main sanctuary. Then on Sunday evening, we will hold our quarterly Dream Team Rally .  This is for everyone who serves (or would like to) on one of our teams or for any of our big events.  Come out for a time of encouragement, team building, and preparations for future events.  Childcare will be provided and pizza will be available. Next Tuesday is April 1st - no fooling! So here is the calendar for the month: Note the events coming up next week: Tuesday Prayer time from 12 - 1 PM in the sanctuary The Remnant men's group meets at ALCC on Tuesday at 6:30 PM There is not a typical "1st Wednesday"  in April, instead on Wednesday, April 9th , we will have a meal, and a short time of praise & prayer followed by our Annual Business Meeting .  All Members are encouraged ...

Happy First Day of Spring! Although it may not feel like it today, Spring is here with the promise of new growth, sunshine, and warm breezy days (hopefully sometime soon)! We have just a few things coming up next week: Monday, March 24, the Ladies' Book Club meets at Jalisco in Newburgh at 6 PM.  All women are welcome to attend! Then on March 25, we'll have our Tuesday Lunch-hour Prayer .  Join us in the sanctuary between 12:00 and 1:00 PM.  Come when you can and stay as long as you can! Wednesday, March 26, is the Young at Heart Luncheon .  Anyone 50+ and available (retired, part-timers, or flexibly scheduled) is invited to meet in the Fellowship Hall at 11 AM for a special service and meal. Ladies' Prayer Group meets again next Thursday, March 27, at 9:30 AM in the ALCC Prayer Room.

This weekend is Rendezvous ! Be praying for our youth Friday-Sunday as they get away from their normal routines and meet with God. Also pray for our Youth staff, volunteers and guest speaker, for an incredible, safe, anointed weekend. Monday is St. Patrick's Day .  While most of our country celebrates this day in silly, raucous, or even pagan ways, the real St. Patrick was a missionary and true Christian example.  If you'd like to learn more, check out this article ! Next Tuesday, March 18, join us for prayer during your lunch hour.  Meet in the Sanctuary for a time of focused prayer from 12 PM until 1 PM.  Stay for the whole hour if you can, or come and go as you need. Also on Tuesday, is the Men's Banquet - finally!! You should have already purchased your tickets, now don't forget to attend.  The meal will take place in the Fellowship Hall at 6:30 PM. The XO Conference is this weekend.  This free event is open to anyone (not just ALCC) who wants to have a better marriage - now or in the future!  Child care will be provided. If you plan to attend, please be sure to register HERE . Don't forget Time Change this weekend!  We Spring Forward Sunday, March 9, so remember to change your non-smart devices before going to bed Saturday night. Next week we will resume our Tuesday Lunchtime Prayer , from 12 until 1 PM in the sanctuary.  Come when you can for as long as you can! Wednesday, March 12, is our Young at Heart Bible Study at 10 AM in the Fellowship Hall.  Any seniors are welcome to attend.  Invite your friends! Thursday, March 13, the Ladies' Prayer Group meets at 9:30 AM in the ALCC Prayer Room. ALCC Youth retreat, Rendezvous , is coming up next weekend, March 14-16.  Be praying for our students to encounter God in new ways as they get away from their routines.
