We are in the final days of our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting .  It's not too late to join in any type of fast, especially the corporate Media Fast, until Sunday.   This week's prayer focus: Health   Pray over the physical, spiritual and emotional health of you and your family in this new year.  Pray over the physical, emotional and spiritual health of the members of ALCC and the overall health of our church in all areas (connections, outreach, ministries, etc.) This Sunday, January 29, is Miracle & Celebration Sunday ! If you need a miracle in your life, come and let us pray with you.  If you've already seen miracles happen in your life, come celebrate with us.  Also, if you or someone you know would like to be baptized, we will be holding water baptisms in both services. Our corporate time of prayer and fasting continues... This weeks prayer focus: Finances Pray over your personal / family finances for 2023. Pray that God would bring increase in and protect the finances of ALCC in 2023. If you haven't yet made the decision to join us, why not start today?  You could fast one meal a day, give up coffee, stay off social media, or how ever the Spirit leads you - it's just that simple! Our 21 Days of Prayers and Fasting continue until Celebration Sunday on January 29.  Next week, in addition to any other fast, we ask you to join the church body in a  corporate media fast .   All fasts will end on the 29th as we celebrate together  with communion, water baptisms, and testimonies.  If you or someone you know would like to be baptized, sign up at the Hospitality Desk in the Foyer. ALCC's 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting continues until January 29 - Celebration Sunday.  If you didn't sign up this past Sunday, it's not too late!  You can start fasting and praying with us today.  Then fill out a form this Sunday and put it in the offering.  Here are the suggested types of fasts: Selective Fast : This type of fast involves removing certain elements from your diet. One example of a selective fast is the Daniel Fast, during which you remove meat, sweets, and bread from your diet and consume water and juice for fluids and fruits and vegetables for food.  Partial Fast : This fast is sometimes called the “Jewish Fast” and involves abstaining from eating any type of food in the morning and afternoon. This can either correlate to specific times of the day, such as 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, or from sunup to sundown. Complete Fast : In this type of fast, you drink only liquids, typically water with light juices as an option.  Soul Fast : This fast is a great option if you

Hope your 2023 is off to a great start!  Now that the holidays are over we will be getting back  into a routine with all of our events, activities, and ministries - old and new! This Saturday, January 7th , is our Men's Ministry monthly Breakfast.  Guys, you don't want to miss this opportunity to gather with others for a great meal and an even better word of encouragement.  The Men's Breakfast is at 8:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall. On Monday, January 9 , we will begin our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting . The Goal of Fasting is to draw near to God - It hits the reset button of our soul and renews us from the inside out.  Fasting enables us to celebrate the goodness and mercy of God. It prepares our hearts for all the good things God desires to bring into our lives. When deciding on a fast, we encourage you to seek God in prayer and follow what the Holy Spirit leads you to do.
