This weekend is  Memorial Day  Weekend We hope you enjoy your long weekend and take time to remember those who gave all for our country.  We will have our normal Sunday services this weekend at 9 and 10:45 AM .  In observance of the holiday,  the church office will be closed Monday, May 29. Tomorrow, Friday, May 26, and Saturday, May 27 , we will have VBS Workdays in the Fellowship Hall.   Belinda Britton will be getting things ready for our cosmic quest at Stellar VBS.  If you're available, meet in the Fellowship Hall.  They'll be working from 10 AM until 2 PM, so come and help as long as you can.  If you can't help either of these days, don't worry there are more workdays coming up.  Saturday, June 3rd Belinda will again direct any helpers from 11 AM until 3 PM and then on June 10 we have the big VBS Decoration Day from 9 AM until 4 PM. Pastor Troy continues this sermon series this Sunday.  Join us at either 9 AM or 10:45 AM. If you missed the first in the series on May 7, catch up with the video podcast . If you haven't yet had a chance to give to Convoy of Hope, you can still do so this weekend.  Just mark your offering envelope Convoy, give online and choose Convoy from the drop down funds menu, or text to give by including the word Convoy in the text with the amount you'd like to give. We have a few things coming up next week: The Young at Heart Luncheon is Wednesday, May 24, at 11 AM in the Fellowship Hall .  This is the last one until August.  Invite your friends, you won't want to miss it! Mother's Day is this Sunday!  Join us at ALCC as we celebrate all the moms in our lives - past, present, future, & spiritual. We will have a special treat for the ladies this Sunday, and don't forget about our special offering for Convoy of Hope. The Remnant men's bible study meets at ALCC on Tuesday, May 16 at 6:30 PM .  All men are welcome to attend. On Thursday, May 18 , the Mama Co. moms' group meets  at 9:15 AM in room 107 and the Ladies' Prayer Group  meets at 9:30 AM in the ALCC Prayer Room. VBS Registration is Open!  HERE is the link to register your kiddos AND volunteer to help! Make plans now to come to the Spaghetti Fundraiser next Sunday, May 21.  It's $10/person, 5 years old and under eat for free.  Eat in or get it to go!  The meal will be available after both services. All proceeds go towards camp.

This Saturday, May 6, is the monthly Men's Breakfast .  If you plan to attend, sign up HERE . On Wednesday, May 10, Pastor Mark & Lisa host the Young at Heart Bible Study in the Fellowship Hall at 10 AM.  Light refreshments will be served.  Invite all your friends that are 50 & over. It's not too late to sign up! Register to attend the membership class HERE .  The exact location of the class has not been finalized, but you'll receive a text reminder beforehand letting you know where to meet.  Also, be sure to pick up your book at the Hospitality Desk on Sunday to read before the class. Thursday, May 11, the Ladies' Prayer Group meets in the ALCC Prayer Room at 9:30 AM.  All women are welcome to attend this time of focused prayer. VBS is next month!!
