May is almost over, so here is the calendar for June Note the events coming up next week: Ladies' Book Club  meets Monday night, they'll meet twice in June to make up for missing May. Tuesday Prayer  on every Tuesday, June through August, from noon until 1 PM for all who are available. Men's Breakfast  is next Saturday, June 7, at 8:30 AM. Youth Carwash Fundraiser is also next Saturday starting at 8:30 AM. Purchase $5 tickets in advance.  All proceeds help our teens pay for camp. VBS at ALCC will be here soon!  Here are some things you need to know: Volunteer and Participant registration is available online HERE There is a volunteer meeting on Sunday, June 8, at 4 PM Set up day is Saturday, June 14, starting at 9 AM Be praying that VBS is a great success!

This weekend we have two of our pastors celebrating Wedding Anniversaries : Pastor Wes & Christina's anniversary is Saturday, May 24, and Pastor Tyler & Mackenzie's is Sunday, May 25.  Be sure to let them know you're thinking of them this weekend! Also on Sunday: ALCC Youth will be having a Spaghetti Fundraiser Meal in the Fellowship Hall after each service.  You can eat here or get it to go! All proceeds will go to help our teens go to camp this summer.  We suggest a $10 donation per adult meal and whatever you think appropriate for a child's meal. Monday, May 26, is Memorial Day .  We hope you get to enjoy a day off as we Remember and Honor all those who gave their lives serving our country.  Just a reminder, the church office will be closed. Parents, don't forget the Kids' Prayer Night , tomorrow, May 16, at 6:00 PM in the Groundzero Building.  Drop off begins at 5:45 PM and pick up begins at 7:30 PM.  They will be gathering with churches in our area that also attend the same Kids Camp to prepare for all that God has in store! VBS is just a little over four weeks away!  So, this Saturday we're having another VBS Work Day !  Come help us between 10 AM and 2 PM as we create our Alaskan themed stage decor that will help our kids remember to 'Trust Jesus in a Wild World' .  Also be sure to sign up to volunteer and register your kids for VBS. Join us this Sunday, May 11, as we celebrate Mother's Day !  Invite the moms (or mother figures) in your life, or if you are a mom, invite your kids to attend with you.  We'll have a special treat for the ladies at both services, 9 and 10:45 AM. Our Tuesday Lunch Hour Prayer will resume on May 13, from noon until 1 PM.  Join us in the sanctuary for a time of focused prayer. Wednesday, May 14, is the Young at Heart Bible Study at 10 AM in the Fellowship Hall.  Invite your over 50 friends to come for a great lesson and light refreshments. The Ladies' Prayer Group meets again next Thursday, May 15, at 9:30 AM in the ALCC Prayer Room. Next Friday, ALCC Kids is hosting a Kids Prayer Night with area churches.  Drop off your kiddos at the GZ Building no earlier than 5:45 PM and pick up begins at 7:30 PM.
