October 26 - November 1

It's the last week of October!  It's also the last week of Daylight Savings Time and we have a full moon on Saturday, Halloween.  Maybe this trifecta will be like hitting Ctrl + Alt + Del so we can reset 2020!  😄

If you didn't join us yesterday, you missed an awesome service with a great move of the Holy Spirit.  We saw people freed from depression and fatigue and Pastor Troy continued with the series, Faith > fear.  If you missed it, be sure to watch the recording of our live-stream from either service on our YouTube channel.

Here are the events coming up this week:

Be in prayer for our nation with the election coming up next week and if you haven't done so already, be sure to vote!

As November begins Sunday, we begin a month of Thanksgiving.  Join us at First Wednesday, November 4th at 6:30 PM as we give thanks to God through praise and prayer.

With November and Thanksgiving also comes the joy and excitement of the upcoming Christmas season.  At ALCC we LOVE Christmas, so much so, that we needed to start our Christmas sermon series early to get it all in!  Starting Sunday, November 22nd, we will begin:

The series will begin the Sunday before Thanksgiving with the movie Elf.  We will continue through December 20th as we look to some of our favorite Christmas films for Godly truths to encourage our child-like faith and Spirit-filled joy.  2020 has been a rough year for all of us, so this Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday season let's find joy, peace and hope.

Plans are still moving forward to hold our live nativity this year.  If you'd like to help in any way, email me at kforston@alccn.org or text the church at 812.853.3437 and I'll add you to the list.  That way we'll be able to communicate with you as our plans unfold or have to be changed.

Have a great week and see you Sunday!
