This Sunday is Celebration Sunday ! As we approach "Decoration Day" I hope you'll take time to remember and honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for us and our nation.  As it is a busy weekend with lots of traveling, on Sunday, May 24, we will have only one service at 10:45 AM .  We hope you'll join us if you're in town. Also due to the holiday, on Monday, May 25, the church office will be closed . Next week we'll finish off the month with our usual events: Tuesday, May 26, serving at the Diner at the  Potter's Wheel , 11 AM - 1 PM Wednesday, May 27, Young at Heart Luncheon at 11 AM - this is the last one until Fall so don't miss it! Today, our team will be serving at Wyndmoor , providing a bible study service to the residents.  All are welcome to help, just meet at 6521 Greendale Dr. in Evansville at 1:15 PM. The ALCC Youth Rummage Sale starts tomorrow! You can shop Friday or Saturday, 8 AM to 2 PM.  All proceeds will go to help our students pay for Teen Camp. This Sunday Night, parents and grandparents are invited to attend the Royal Ranger/Mpact Girls Awards Night .  Come and see what the kids have learned this year on Sunday evenings and recognize those who have completed the Royal Ranger and Mpact Girls programs. Due to Memorial Day, the Ladies' Book Club will meet a week early, on Monday, May 18, at Jalisco in Newburgh at 6 PM.  All ladies are welcome to attend and hear about some great books to read. VBS Registration is open!   VBS at ALCC is June 8-12, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM.  ALCC offers VBS free of charge to all kiddos in our community, ages 3 (and potty trained) up through those entering 6th grade.  Head to alccn.org and scroll down until you find the rainforest.  There you'll find a link to register your kids, grandkids, neighbors, etc. or you can sign up to volunteer.  VBS may be free to those attending, but it's not free to put on.  If you'd like to help with the costs of VBS you can donate in the offering by marking your envelope VBS or online by choosing VBS in the dropdown fund menu.  You can also help make VBS a huge success by praying!  You can pick up a prayer card at the VBS table at the back of the sanctuary this Sunday.
