As we approach "Decoration Day" I hope you'll take time to remember and honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for us and our nation.  As it is a busy weekend with lots of traveling, on Sunday, May 24, we will have only one service at 10:45 AM.  We hope you'll join us if you're in town.

Also due to the holiday, on Monday, May 25, the church office will be closed.


Next week we'll finish off the month with our usual events:

  • Tuesday, May 26, serving at the Diner at the Potter's Wheel, 11 AM - 1 PM
  • Wednesday, May 27, Young at Heart Luncheon at 11 AM - this is the last one until Fall so don't miss it!
  • Thursday, May 28, Bible study for the residents of Wyndmoor at 1:15 PM


Next Sunday, May 31, is Celebration Sunday!  We'll share all that God is doing at ALCC, worship, have Water Baptisms, Communion and more!  Join us at 9 & 10:45 AM.



Rainforest Falls VBS is right around the corner!!  Be sure to get your kids, grandkids, neighbors, and friends signed up soon.  Online registration for participants and volunteers is available HERE or if you're old school, paper forms are available at the VBS table at the back of the sanctuary.  Be sure to pick up a prayer card too!  Also, if you'd like to help fund VBS, please give in the offering and mark it VBS or choose VBS from the drop down fund menu online.

For all those who'd like to help, here is some information for you:

  • Belinda Britton is getting the main stage design prepped and ready now.  If you'd like to help, she's at the Legacy House working most week days from around 10 AM until 2 PM, and will be working even more the week of June 1-5 in the sanctuary.
  • A Volunteer Meeting is scheduled for Saturday, May 6, at 9 AM in the Fellowship Hall
  • Then we'll all be Decorating after the meeting from 10 until 4 PM - or until it's done!  Lunch will be provided.  If you can't stay all day, any time you can come will be a help.


We also have Camps coming up in June:

  • Teen Camp, June 15-19, $300, see Angel or Briley to register
  • Kids Camp, June 22-25, $135, Register HERE
  • Help with a full or partial scholarship by giving in the offering and marking it Teen Camp or Kids Camp!
