💗💗Happy Anniversary to Pastor Johnathan and Mimi, Sunday, July 17!  Be sure to wish them well and pray for many more years of wedded bliss!

Tuesday, July 19 is the day, ladies!


The much loved Salad Supper returns!  Fix a salad of any kind - veggie, pasta, chicken, tuna, fruit, jello, hot, cold, new, old - and bring it along with a healthy appetite to the Fellowship Hall at 6:30 PM.  You'll enjoy a tasting of all the salads and hear a great word from a special lady.  You won't want to miss it!


The Remnant Men's Bible Study also meets this Tuesday, July 19, at 6:30 PM.  Due to the ladies' salad supper, the guys will meet in the GZ building.


The Ladies' Prayer Group meets again next Thursday, at 9:30 AM.  All women are welcome to attend this time of directed prayer in the ALCC Prayer Room.  If you have any questions, see Kathy Tidd.

Monday, July 25, ALCC Kids invite your family to join them at Skate World for Christian Music Skate Night at 6:30 PM.  The cost is $5 per person (which includes skate rental) for 2 hours of skating.  Skate World is located at 1300 Fairfield Drive, Evansville.   If you have any other questions, see Mimi Montoya.


July 31 is Celebration Sunday!  On this 5th Sunday, we will hear testimonies, hold water baptisms, and dedicate babies.  If you'd like to share a testimony, see one of our pastors.  If you'd like to be baptized, sign up at the Hospitality Desk in the foyer.  If you'd like your baby dedicated, call the church office at 812.853.3437.

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4.  If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church!  We want this to be a benefit to our community.

October 26, 2023

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party .  Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more!   We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives.  If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering.  You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is  Lisa Short's Birthday .  You still have a little time to send her a card or  you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday!
