Schools start all over the tri-state this week and next.  As the kids and staff return, let's keep them in prayer for a great school year, and pray for the parents as they send their kids back to school.

Next Wednesday, August 9, at 10 AM the Young at Heart Bible Study resumes in the Fellowship Hall with a great study on Joseph.  Everyone over 50 is welcome to attend, so feel free to invite anyone you know who would be available to come.  For more information, see Pastor Mark or Lisa.

Thursday, August 10, the Ladies' Prayer Group meets at 9:30 AM in the ALCC Prayer Room.  All women who are prayer warriors, prayer novices, or anywhere in between are welcome to attend.  For more information, see Kathy Tidd.

If you or someone you know is new to ALCC or is ready to get involved, Life Track is the next step!  Life Track is a 3 hour course that shares all about Abundant Life, teaches you how God made you special and shows where you can get plugged in and serve others.  Life Track will be held on Saturday, August 12, from 9 AM until 12 PM.  For more information, see one of the pastors.

A new semester of Life Groups begin this month!  Those who meet 1st & 3rd Sundays begin on August 20 and those who meet 2nd & 4th Sundays begin on August 27.  If you'd like to be part of a Life Group, fill out a form at the table in the back of the sanctuary.  Also, there will be a special group taught by John & Stacey Cobb called "I Was Broke.  Now I'm Not."  This group will meet 2nd & 4th Sundays.  You can sign up for this class at the table as well.
