 Sunday is September 1st so here's the calendar for the month:


Note the things coming up next week:

  • Monday is Labor Day.  The church office will be closed.
  • Tuesday is Pastor Troy's Birthday.  He may be on sabbatical, but you could send him a card.
  • The Remnant men's bible study also meets this coming Tuesday at ALCC.
  • We have First Wednesday next week too.  Join us for a meal starting at 5:15 PM and then a Praise & Prayer service at 6:30 PM.


Ladies, don't forget to sign up for the Vital Women's Conference coming up the end of September.  There is a sign up sheet at the Hospitality Desk in the foyer.

We have nothing on the calendar for the rest of January, so here's a look at what's coming up in February: Make plans to join us for the ALCC Marriage Conference February 2-4.  If you know a couple that would be blessed by this conference, feel free to invite them even if they attend another church!  We want this to be a benefit to our community.

October 26, 2023

This Friday, October 27, is the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party .  Bring the whole family and join us in the Groundzero building at 6:30 PM to help fill our boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and more!   We've been recognizing our pastors this month on social media, we've collected a few cards and notes, and this Sunday will be the last day we'll receive a special offering to bless our pastors and their wives.  If you haven't given yet you can do so by marking your envelope "Pastor Appreciation" when you give cash or a check in the offering.  You can also choose "Pastor Appreciation" from the fund drop down menu if you give online . This Sunday, October 29th is  Lisa Short's Birthday .  You still have a little time to send her a card or  you can send her a text or even post something on social media wishing her a happy birthday!
