Tomorrow night at ALCC:

Join the gals of Sister Co. at this western themed fall girls night.  Meet in the Main Sanctuary at 6:30 PM for a time of worship, followed by hayrides, a bonfire and s'mores.  Women of all ages are welcome to attend.

Sunday, Pastor Troy will wrap up At the Movies with the film, Mr. Holland's Opus.  Bring a friend; we'll have the popcorn ready.

Coming up Next Week:

  • The Ladies' Book Club meets on Monday, October 27, at 6 PM at Jalisco in Newburgh
  • On Tuesday you're invited to help serve with our team at the Potter's Wheel from 11 AM until 1 PM
  • Also on Tuesday is our Lunch Hour Prayer from noon until 1 PM

Wednesday, October 29, is Z Night: Costume Edition at ALCC Youth.  The costume theme is book characters. Your middle and high schoolers won't want to miss this fun night!  There will be free Taco Bell and prizes for best costumes.

Wednesday is also Lisa Short's Birthday! Be sure to send her lots of love with cards, texts, and social medial posts!

Saturday, November 1, is the OCC Packing Party in the Fellowship Hall at 1 PM.  Everyone is invited to come help fill boxes for children around the world.  Bring the whole family!  Don't forget to bring in your donations this week and put them in one of the red collection boxes.  It's also not too late to grab an ornament from the trees, pick up the item/items suggested, and then drop them off at church next week or bring them to the party.

Next weekend, November 2, Daylight Savings Time Ends.  So on Saturday night, don't forget to turn back the clocks in your home that don't do so automatically (clocks on stoves and microwaves, alarm clocks, timers on coffee pots, etc.) and enjoy the extra hour of sleep.

ALCC's Friend Day is coming up on Sunday, November 2.  This is a special day to invite your unchurch and/or unsaved family and friends.  Pastor will begin a new sermon series that Sunday entitles "Thanks". Be sure to pick up some invite cards to thank someone for being your friend.
