November 13, 2025

Ladies, you won't want to miss the 'Twas the Night Before Christmas Soiree!  Tickets will be available for purchase this Sunday.  The pajama themed Christmas Soiree will be held Tuesday, December 16, at 6:15 PM.  Tickets are $20 and you can pay by cash, check (make out to ALCC WMs), Venmo (@Sister-co), or by credit card on the Sister Co. Square site

Also on Sunday, make sure you sign up to help at Bethlehem and/or pick up a yard sign.  Our big Bethlehem Revisited event is coming up on December 13 & 14 from 6 to 8 PM.  This is our biggest outreach of the year and a community favorite.  To make it a success we need lots of volunteers. You'll find a sign up sheet located at the Bethlehem table in the main foyer. That is also where you can pick up at yard sign to help us get the word out.

Tuesday, November 18, is another busy day at ALCC:

  • It's Paul's Birthday! Be sure to let our Children's Director know how much you care with a card, text, or social media post.
  • Our team will be serving at the Potter's Wheel in Evansville from 11 AM until 1 PM.  All are welcome to help any week you can!
  • Our Lunch Hour Prayer is open to all who can join from 12 to 1 PM.
  • The Remnant men's Bible study group meets at ALCC at 6:30 PM

On Wednesday, November 19, ALCC Youth will have service for all our Middle and High School students. Doors open at 6 PM.

The Ladies' Prayer Group will meet in the ALCC Prayer Room on Thursday, November 20, at 9:30 AM.

Coming up at the end of the month, Sunday, November 30, is Celebration Sunday.  Let's give thanks together for all God is doing at ALCC.  We'll have communion, water baptisms, testimonies, and more.  If you or someone you know would like to be baptized, complete this online FORM.

I mentioned this last week and sent out an email this week, but enrollment for our Advent Devotional is still open!  All you have to do is text ADVENT to 812-853-3437 to get signed up.  Be sure to do this by Wednesday, November 19, so you can be given access to the devotional material through Logos before we begin on November 23.
