Today is October 1 and we have lots coming up at ALCC:





October is Pastor Appreciation Month! We have a few ways you can show our pastors how much you value them.  Starting this Sunday, October 4, there will be a table at the back of the sanctuary with baskets to collect gifts, cards, and notes for each of our pastoral couples.  In addition, we will also receive a special offering on October 18, that will go to bless our pastors financially.  You may choose to do one or both of these options.  Bless them with a kind note, a card, a gift card, or even some homemade goodies.  To give in the offering: mark you envelope "Pastor Appreciation" or choose that fund from the drop down menu when giving online.  Of course, you can always do both - a note or card and an offering.  However you feel lead to bless them. 



This Sunday at both 9:00 and 10:45 am, we start our At the Movies sermons series! You won't want to miss any - especially since we cannot stream them.  Due to copyright laws, we will not be able to stream or record any of these messages, so you must come in person.  Plus, when you come in person, you get free popcorn!  ALCC Kids will also be having their own series this month, At the Movies - 90s Edition, with old school family favorites.  Be sure to invite your family and friends to join you "at the movies" and be sure to grab some invite cards from the Hospitality Desk in the foyer to do it.

  • Don't forget, every Tuesday you can serve at the Potter's Wheel from 11 am until 1 pm
  • The Remnant men's group meets at ALCC on Tuesday, October 6, at 6:30 pm
  • First Wednesday is October 7 - Family Meal of soups and sandwiches at 5:15 pm followed by a Praise & Prayer service at 6:30 pm
  • Thursday, October 8, our team will minister to the residents of Wyndmoor at 1:15 pm
