Today you can help minister to others at Wyndmoor in Evansville.  Help our team as they provide a service/Bible study for the residents.  Meet at the facility at 1:15 pm.


This Sunday is the last in our At the Movies sermon series, so you have one more opportunity to invite a friend to join you!  This week we'll take a look at the film, Jesus Revolution.  Remember, you must come in person for both the free popcorn and the message.


This Sunday is also the last day for our Pastor Appreciation baskets.  If you haven't done so already, be sure to bring in a note, a card, or even a small gift or goody this week.  Thank you for your generosity and encouragement for all of our pastors!


We have several things coming up next week:

  • Once again, there is an opportunity to serve at the Potter's Wheel in Evansville on Tuesday at 11 am.
  • The Young at Heart Luncheon is Wednesday, October 28, at 11 am in the Fellowship Hall. Sorry for any confusion due to the typo on the October calendar.
  • Also on Wednesday, ALCC Youth will hold it's annual fall event - "The Night": Costume Edition.  All middle and high schoolers are encouraged to dress up and come have some fun.  Doors open at 6 pm and service begins at 6:30 pm.
  • Thursday, October 29 is Lisa Short's Birthday. Be sure to wish her a very happy day by card, social media post, text, or phone call.
  • On October 30, ALCC Kids hosts it's 5th Friday Family Event with an Outdoor Movie.  Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and snuggle up with the family.  Concessions will be available for purchase.


Coming up in November, we will be holding another session of Life Track.  Life Track meets during the 9 am service for 3 Sundays.  These classes meet in the classroom off of the Fellowship Hall. Life Track is for anyone new to ALCC and/or anyone ready to get involved.  In these sessions, you'll learn about the church, about yourself, and where you'll best fit on the Dream Team.  If you'd like to attend, sign up HERE


The Operation Christmas Child Christmas trees still have a lot of ornaments on them.  The packing party is just 3 weeks away and we need lots of items to fill our boxes.  Grab an ornament or two this Sunday, purchase an item (or more) on the back, and bring it back to the church by October 31.  All donations can be placed in the big red collection boxes in the front and back of the church. Lets share the joy of Christmas with children around the world.
